Editorial Policy

Last Updated:

This policy explains how Sarkari Job decides what to publish, where facts come from and how pages are kept accurate. It applies to every post, hub and tool on the site.

1. Sources we use

Every post records its official source and shows it as "Verified from". We link to official portals only for applying, downloading admit cards or checking results.

2. What we publish

We publish a recruitment, admit card, answer key or result only once it is live on an official website or officially scheduled. We do not publish rumoured vacancies. Where a detail is not yet released – for example the fee in a short notice – the page says "As per official notice (awaited)". Where sources disagree, the page states the disagreement and points to the notice instead of choosing one figure.

3. Verification

Dates, vacancy counts, fees, age limits, pay levels and links are checked against the official source before publishing and again whenever the page is updated. The step-by-step checklist is on How We Verify.

4. Use of AI tools

We may use AI writing tools to help draft explanations, structure tables or summarise long notices. AI tools are never treated as a source. Every date, number, name and link on a page is checked by a person against the official source before publishing, and the editor named on the page is responsible for its accuracy.

5. Updates and status

6. Corrections

Errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, under our corrections policy. Significant corrections are noted on the page.

7. Independence and advertising

No recruiter, coaching institute, advertiser or political party can pay to publish, change or remove an update. If the site carries advertising, ads are clearly separate from editorial content, are never placed inside the official summary at the top of a post, and do not influence what we cover. We do not accept payment for "guaranteed" job listings.

8. Tools

Our calculators use official data – the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix, central DA orders and allowance rates – and say clearly when a result is an estimate or a scenario, such as 8th Pay Commission fitment factors, which have not been decided.
