Sarkari result admit card: release timelines

Admit cards are released close to the exam. As a rule of thumb, an exam city slip arrives about 7–10 days before the exam (for SSC and RRB exams) and the admit card 2–7 days before. State boards differ, and some release cards exam-date-wise, so a candidate with a later exam date gets the card later. Every post on this page lists the release date exactly as the board announced it, or marks it Expected when only a schedule is known.

Hall ticket details to check immediately

Frequently Asked Questions

Admit card kaise download karein?

Open the official link in the post, log in with your registration or roll number and your password or date of birth, then download and print the admit card. Check your photo, name, centre and reporting time.

What is an exam city slip?

It is an advance notice of the city where your exam centre is. Boards such as SSC and the RRBs release it about a week or more before the exam. It is not an admit card and is not accepted at the centre.

My admit card is not showing. What should I do?

Check the date of your exam. Many boards release admit cards date-wise or shift-wise, a few days before each exam. If the window has opened for your date and it still fails, contact the board's helpdesk listed in the notice.

What should I carry to the exam centre?

A printed admit card and an original photo ID that matches the name on it, plus anything the instructions on the admit card ask for, such as an extra photograph. Electronic devices are not allowed.

Is a mobile copy of the admit card accepted?

Usually not. Most boards require a printed copy. Follow the instructions printed on your own admit card, which override general advice.

Can I change my exam centre after the admit card is out?

Almost never. Centre changes, if allowed at all, happen only in the correction window before admit cards are issued.
